Belper Pride takes place on Saturday the 3rd August 2024.

Pride in Belper, now in its 5th year, champions intentional inclusivity and community protest against LGBTQ+ hate. We showcase local stallholders and performers, inviting everyone to celebrate our diverse community. All are welcome to join us in embracing and supporting inclusivity at this vibrant, local and much respected event. In the heart of Derbyshire, Pride in Belper seeks to bring the whole community together through a festival of diversity and visible events, that celebrate and normalise the LGBT+ community and our allies. Built in the pillars of Sustainability, Accessibility, Inclusivity and Diversity, Pride in Belper seeks to level up equality and enjoy LGBT+ visibility throughout the town.

Parade
We gather in the Market Place from about 11am in good time for the parade to start at 12 noon. We will walk down King Street, turn left along Strutt Street, then turn right down New Road. We will turn right into Campbell Street and, at the end, we turn right back up King Street for the continuation of the day’s events.
