Belfast Pride takes place from the 22nd to the 31st July 2022, Pride Day on Saturday 30th July 2022.

The Belfast Pride Parade is the biggest cross-community parade in the city, the main event in the LGBTQ calendar and one of the key events in Belfast Pride festival. It is a protest and a celebration, a call for equality, a stand for solidarity and a celebration of the lives of the LGBT community in Belfast and is about the positive messages and expressing support for the LGBT community.

Pride Day on Saturday 30th July
This year the parade will be online again as we don’t feel it is safe enough yet for the large scale events of Pride Day. Belfast Pride is about a community and a city coming together to celebrate LGBT+ lives and protest for full Equality. We want as many people as possible to take part in the online Belfast Pride Parade this year by sending a short video.
The parade leaves at 1.00 pm sharp. The route for Belfast Pride Parade 2022 is under review – we introduced a new route in 2019 and outgrew this immediately. We aim to find the best way to fit everyone in, keep everyone safe, and still get maximum visibility for the community. We will still be going down Royal Avenue and Donegall Place towards City Hall, and we will announce the full route as soon as it had been agreed upon and has passed all crowd safety tests.

Festival
Belfast Pride Festival is one of the biggest festivals in Belfast and runs over 150 events across 10 days. The festival runs from Friday 22nd July to Sunday, July 31st with Pride Day and the centrepiece Pride Parade on Saturday 30th July.
