Uppsala Pride takes place on Saturday the 7th September 2024.

As early as 1971, the first pride festival was held in Uppsala, organized by RFSL Uppsala - a local branch of RFSL: The National Federation for the Rights of Homosexuals, Bisexuals, Transgender, Queers and Intersex Persons. After a break for a while, since 2016 we have arranged Uppsala's pride festival again. The initiative started as an integration project under the name Welcome OUT, but is today called Uppsala Pride. The festival's motto, "Welcome here, welcome home, welcome out!", is a reference to Uppsala's motto "Welcome here, welcome home" as well as a perpetuation of the previous project name Welcome OUT.

What you can expect at Clarion Hotel Gillet Pride 2024 After-party; Nice atmosphere, awesome people, good music and mingles. Cocktail bar with drinks and snacks, to buy, will be open during the whole event. Tickets: 100kr. 50% off with entrance card (Get this at Uppsala Konsert & Kongress on day of event). If you leave the premises, there will be a way to check that you have already paid entrance when coming back in. So no double payments. Need a place to sleep after?
