Bygdepride takes place from the 4th to 11th May 2024.

Bygdepride is a movement and a member organisation that will start in Ørsta and Volda in 2017. The festival was for the first time held in May 2018. What started as a small thought about a local pride festival should immediately turn out to have a more national appeal - and to be an expression of feelings even more sat inside with. The first parade was attended by more than 50 teams and organisations, and several thousand people. The folk festival was, among other things, broadcast live by several of the country's largest media houses, such as NRK, VG, TV2 and Sunnmørsposten.

Meet at Steinrøysa by Volda secondary school at 14.30. The parade starts at 15:00. After the parade, we will gather in Uppheimsparken in Volda for a concert and appeals.
