Bygdepride takes place from the 6th to 14th May 2023.

Bygdepride is a movement and a member organization that will start in Ørsta and Volda in 2017. The festival was for the first time held in May 2018.

What started as a small thought about a local pride festival should immediately turn out to have a more national appeal - and to be an expression of feelings even more sat inside with.

The first parade was attended by more than 50 teams and organizations, and several thousand people. The folk festival was, among other things, broadcast live by several of the country's largest media houses, such as NRK, VG, TV2 and Sunnmørsposten.

Parade foreplay 11:00 a.m
Village Pride parade 14:00 Meet at Steinrøysa by Volda upper secondary school at 14:30. The parade starts at 15:00. After the parade, we will gather in Uppheimsparken in Volda. Blueboy from Stryn is waiting to play for us. In addition, there were appeals from deputy leader Anbjørn Steinholm Frislid in Bygdepride, mayor Sølvi Dimmen and leader in FRI, Inge Alexander Gjestvang.
