Rotterdam Pride takes place from the 1st to 11th June 2023.
Rotterdam Pride in its 10th year, wants a society in which everybody feels at home and dreams of a society in which everyone can be themselves, regardless of sexuality, gender identity, background or age. Rotterdam Pride is a connecting organization that makes sexual-, cultural- and gender diversity discussable positively, by making use of culture, knowledge and entertainment. We’ll make diversity visible and discussable, by connecting people in a loving way to make Rotterdam Pride.
We're back in 2023! From 1 to 11 June, Rotterdam will again be dominated by LGBTQIA+ emancipation, equality and acceptance through an extensive program with various events. The one-day festival will also be present this year, which will take place on June 3, 2023 with a view of the iconic Erasmus Bridge on Willemsplein. Have you already saved it in your agenda?
Opening
June 1 7pm - 1am @ Art Hall Rotterdam
The official opening of Rotterdam Pride where we will celebrate 010 years of Rotterdam Pride together while at the same time looking back at how Pride came into existence. An evening filled with drinks, spoken word by Luis Bracamontes of Unwanted Words and a pride talk about Queer masculinity with Giovanni Maisto Ferreira, Bappie Kortram and Dexter led by Nychenda Fecunda. As a festive conclusion to the evening, we have a ballroom showcase + after party 'Under My Umbrella' by people from the Dutch ballroom community. During the pride talk about queer masculinity, we discuss how we can adopt and spread a healthy form of masculinity or masculinity. How does toxic masculinity affect the queer community? And how do you break social patterns as a Queer person? During the talk Giovanni will also show his film Touch'M about their personal search for the power of (healthy) masculinity.

On June 3 this year we celebrate 010 years of Rotterdam Pride together under the iconic Erasmus Bridge on Willemsplein and you definitely don't want to miss this edition! The day will consist of a full program with cool artists, performances, sound systems and stands. Soon more will be announced about the line up and other cool activities you can expect from us. Be sure to click on 'I'm going' and put the event in your calendar, and then we'll see each other on June 3 anyway! The event is free of charge.
