CSD Hamburg Pride takes place from the 25th July to 2nd August 2026.

In 1980, lesbians and gays took to the streets in Hamburg for the first time to demonstrate for their rights. The motto of the first so-called Stonewall demonstration was: “Against discrimination against homosexuals. We are many! ”1,500 people took part in the protest march, which ended in an argument with the police, who secretly photographed the participants. When the latter then demanded the release of the films, the police used irritant gas and batons. Numerous events will again take place in the Pride House in St. Georg. The highlight of Pride Week.

Associations, initiatives and groups from the community organize talk, lectures, discussions, performances, parties, readings and much more during this time – as diverse as the queer life in Hamburg, is also Pride Week. Far more than 100 events on queer topics take place every year during this week. The PRIDE HOUSE as a central location hosts a large part of the events. It is also 2026 again in the IFZ/Schorsch in Rostocker Straße 7 in St. Georg housed.
