Baerenpaadiie XXL takes place from the 18th to 19th January 2025.
Every weekend around the third Saturday in January, the bears and their friends conquer Hamburg and celebrate a great festival with many facets for an entire weekend. This event started more than 20 years ago with a small disco in the MHC on Borgweg. There, the Nordbär founders wanted to offer a small event for the bear scene that is just awakening. None of you suspected that it would become Germany’s largest and most popular event.
After only a few years, the hall in the MHC became too small for the more than 500 participants, so we cautiously asked the Markthalle. In the following years, they still offered us the perfect location for the bear couple. In the beginning, we only had the foyer and the art room. The Marx then offered the first extension. Until we opened the gates to the large hall due to space constraints and thus arrived at the Bärenpaaddiie XXL.
Saturday
The gates of the Markthalle Hamburg will be opened in the evening for the Bärenfolk and its followers. We can hardly wait to welcome you all again to the biggest bear party in Germany. Everyone(!) (fat, thin, muscular, old, young, hairy, hairless, dog, cat, mouse) is welcome to join us. We’ll make sure that the Markthalle is spruced up so that everyone can feel at home. You just bring a good mood and a high fun factor, so that we can all experience a roaring XXL bear night together. Two dance floors, our DJs Sven Enzelmann – NT – Kayoso – Alex, a lounge with seating to chill out and a large foyer full of all the guys the bear world has to offer are waiting for you.
Sunday
Tthe spectacular “Körri – Speisekontor” – brunch at the very highest level in one of the best restaurants in Hamburg. The extensive menu includes hot and cold dishes that are guaranteed to have everyone licking their fingers! Also included in the price are flavoured water, juices, tea and all coffee specialities of the house. We start at 11 am. There is a buffet until 2:15 p.m., and at 3 p.m. we unfortunately all have to go home. Members who joined the Nordbären Club before September 7, 2024 pay €32, all other guests pay €39. Be sure, this feast for the palate is the perfect end to the Nordbären 2025 bear party weekend.
