CSD Remscheid takes place on Saturday the 20th September 2025.

There will be a demo train with rallies through Remscheid and then a colourful festival with many stands in Remscheid's city park. The idea for the CSD in Remscheid came from the queer youth, to set an example against the exclusion and discrimination of homosexuals and bisexuals, trans* and inter people, but also to simply get back to life with all to celebrate its facets. A positivist alliance of clubs, action alliances and private individuals actively supports the wish. Thankfully, the official organiser is the AGOT (Working Group on Open Child and Youth Work). This will be the 3rd CSD Remscheid.

At the first two Pride events in our colorful city, there was, as a side note, a counter-protest by supposedly devout neo-Nazis who blasphemously contradict the teachings of the official church. Hundreds of police officers kept the right-wing extremist counter-demonstrators completely away from our social protest and the subsequent Festival of Love (family festival).

16:00: Remscheid Town Hall, introduction by Benni Bauerdick, speech by Burkhard Mast-Weisz
16:15: Demo starts. 1st stop: Middle of Hindenburgstrasse / height of GBG with speeches by Pastor Anne Simon and slam poet Kuri. 2nd stop: in front of police headquarters with speeches by Sven Wolf, MdL and a double contribution by Jolene "Yun" Kohn and Elias Ewald for queer youth.

Festival
The queer party in the city park. There will once again be a colourful and fresh stage program, at numerous stands you can get information, play, eat, drink. This party will end at 22:00.
