CSD Remscheid takes place on Saturday the 16the September 2023.

There will be a demo train with rallies through Remscheid and then a colourful festival with many stands in Remscheid's city park. The idea for a first CSD in Remscheid came from the queer youth, to set an example against the exclusion and discrimination of homosexuals and bisexuals, trans* and inter* people, but also to simply get back to life with all to celebrate its facets. A positivist alliance of clubs, action alliances and private individuals actively supports the wish. Thankfully, the official organizer is the AGOT (Working Group on Open Child and Youth Work).

4 p.m.: Remscheid Town Hall, introduction by Benni Bauerdick, speech by Burkhard Mast-Weisz
4:15 p.m.: Demo starts
1st stop: Middle of Hindenburgstrasse / height of GBG with speeches by Pastor Anne Simon and slam poet Kuri
2nd stop: in front of police headquarters with speeches by Sven Wolf, MdL and a double contribution by Jolene "Yun" Kohn and Elias Ewald for queer youth.

Festival
5:15 p.m. Welcome to the city park with a video greeting from patron Wolfgang Tillmans
Party with the bands APEX and GutSo from 5.30 p.m., followed by DJ sets from deejay Kpz B2B Ben Vince and Alexander Lux. In addition to the stage show with the bands Apex and GutSo and the two DJ sets from deejay Kpz B2B Ben Vince and Alexander Lux, our stage technician Marco Thieme also has numerous lighting elements with him to illuminate the city park in the colours of the rainbow. Music program begins at around 5:30 p.m. During the renovation breaks, moderator Benni Bauerdick will hold discussions and present initiatives relating to queer life. In addition to information stands, there will also be a few activities in the city park. Your physical well-being is also taken care of.
