Wellington International Pride Parade takes place from 6th to 22nd March 2026.
The world’s coolest little capital will once again come alive with a huge celebration of Pride, Love, Inclusivity and Diversity. With Dykes on Bikes. There will be drag performers. There will be floats from community groups, charities, our Forces and corporates; all coming together to show off the glitz, glamour and guts of our community. 1000s of spectators will line the streets to witness the dazzling display of diversity.

Wellington Pride Parade
Saturday, March 7, 2026 16:00–20:00. Show your support as we march for Pride at the Wellington Pride Parade! Cheer on the fabulous procession through Courtenay Place and Dixon Street, finishing at the iconic Cuba Street Rainbow Crossing
Pride Youth Ball
14 March 2026. Get ready for the Pride Youth Ball, the most exciting and inclusive event for LGBTQIA+ youth in Wellington. This vibrant celebration is all about letting your true colours shine in a safe and welcoming space, and a night filled with music, dancing, and pure joy. Whether you're strutting your stuff on the dance floor or making new friends, the Pride Youth Ball is your chance to celebrate who you are with a community that embraces diversity and pride.

Pride Hīkoi 09:00-10:00. Pride has always been, and will always be, a protest. This hīkoi will allow us to march together into Out in the City.
Out in the City 10:00-16:00 Be part of our all-day family friendly fair event with stalls, stage performances, delicious food and drink and a jam-packed day of LGBTQIA+ celebration and vibes. If you’re coming into Te Whanganui-ā-Tara for Pride, you don’t want to miss this event, it’s our biggest, and it’s free. Come down and hang out, can’t wait to see you there.
Pride Picnic
