The Fringe Bar is an entertainment venue where anything could happen, and every night is always different. Stand-Up Comedy, Improvisation, Sketch Comedy, Musical Comedy, Theatre, Poetry, Karaoke, Live Music, Homegrown Film Screenings.

The venue hosts up to four nights of comedy every week. The Fringe Bar is also the home of The Wellington Improvisation Troupe (WIT) which performs improvised theatre and improvisational comedy every Wednesday.

The Fringe Bar has been honoured to host many of the shows connected to the New Zealand Fringe Festival, and the New Zealand International Comedy Festival. These festivals see the Fringe Bar turn into a thriving hub for many artists, crew and their audiences.
