From 10–26 February, the people of Aotearoa/New Zealand’s most diverse city will come together to celebrate progress and make love under a mighty rainbow!

Moving forward into its 5th year, the Auckland Pride Festival is New Zealand’s largest and loudest social and cultural programme of events for our Rainbow communities (Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgender, Takatapui, Fa’afafine, Intersex, Queer), as well as our families and friends.

The 2017 Auckland Pride Festival commences with the Auckland Pride Gala at Q Theatre on Friday 10 February, and climaxes when the Auckland Pride Parade processes the length of Ponsonby Road on Saturday 25 February.

A celebration of culture, sexuality and gender identity, the 2017 Auckland Pride Festival will feature over 50 individual events – including local and international theatre and cabaret, art exhibitions, live music, film and digital media, literature, debates and discussions, drag and burlesque, sports and recreation, gardening, pets, pageants and parties!
