Auckland Pride takes place from the 1st February to the 26th February 2023.

Auckland Pride produces Tāmaki Makaurau’s annual Festival of events for rainbow communities, and in 2023 celebrated its 11th consecutive Pride Festival.

Auckland Pride’s mission is to produce an inclusive festival that reflects the diversity of Tāmaki Makaurau’s queer communities, connecting and celebrating past, present, and future.

The Auckland Pride Festival is an open-access arts, culture, and community Festival. It’s comprised of major events delivered by Auckland Pride, such as OurGala, OurMarch, and OurParty, and events produced by artists, community organisers, and organisations.

Auckland Pride is proud to announce the first wave of the 2023 programme is now live, for a full month of celebration and connection from 1 – 26 February. The Festival will include much loved annual gatherings, new key events to mark in the calendar, and a programme brimming with arts experiences throughout Tāmaki Makaurau, all framed within this year’s theme of ‘Elevate’.

The Pride Party is back and bigger than ever! Pride in the Square is a two-day event on the 24th and 25th of February. In partnership with Auckland Live’s Summer in the Square, we are bringing you a bolder, brighter, queerer community party to send off the Pride Festival for 2023.
Aotea Square will come alive on the 24 and 25 February with community groups, DJ’s, drag artists and musicians from across the motu. Kicking off the celebrations on Friday night is the joyful Caribbeanz Southern Stars Steel Band and BabyFreekk's Drag hour of Power. DJ’s RNG-SUS, the iconic Diesel, Little Bok Choy, and Nic Tims follow, bringing the club to the square!
