Maspalomas Beach & Sand Dunes

Bar number 4 down on Maspalomas beach is where the gay beach is.

The shoreline/beach is about a 15/20 minute walk and through the dunes. Walking along the beach is by far the easiest, it's all flat, you get the sea-breeze if there is one so not so hot, and it's fun people-watching as you go along. The first part of the beach is where the families tend to stay, just past there couples & groups of friends. Just past there is bar number 4 where the nudist sunbathing starts and after that comes bar number 7, the gay beach. Again, a lot of guys decide on nude sunbathing, but most don't.

There's always loud dance music pumping out from the bar and a big crowd (especially at weekends) hanging out there. Sun-beds are 2.50 for the day, as are umbrellas. Bring a bottle of water or something with you too, as of course no supermarket prices on the beach, only bar prices.
