I visited this sauna for the first time the other day and told the guy behind the reception that I would review it, so here goes..... This is only the second ever sauna that I have been to, so I have relatively little to compare it with, but I had a very pleasant time. The entrance is discreet and the receptionist helpful. The locker room is small but large enough for half-a-dozen guys to change in simultaneously. The showers and toilets are close by. The main features downstairs are the hot tub, which was somewhat cold for my taste and the room quite dark - it reminded me of an old-fashioned football changing rooms - the dry sauna and steam rooms, which were both clean but not quite hot enough for me, and a very well laid-out relaxing area which comfortable chairs and tables, and a selection of drinks and food. On the first floor is where the action takes place. There is a cinema room, screening mediocre films, a small outside smoking/sunbathing area, a room with a sling in and several (unused) gloryholes. There are also a number of private rooms with doors that you can either close or leave open, depending upon your tastes, and a dark room, which was small but busy whenever I visited it. The atmosphere around the place is friendly, with a wide range of types and ages of guys. I went on a Tuesday, which is Naked Day, so there was none of this covering up with towels silliness, so I cannot comment on what it might be like on the other days in the week. This is well worth making a visit to if you are in the area. Being in the city centre, parking is readily available only 5 minutes' walk away but is not free - the cheapest for between 3 and 24 hours is £3:00.

Third time I have been here, as passing through the area on business. Went on a Thursday, as advertised a foam party, arrived just about 1830, about ten guys in here. No foam party happening. Most of the guys were Asian, and they were mincing around, really put me off. One small little guy was so camp and looked sleazy, it was untrue, trying to shove his hard cock in other guys faces, and trying to kiss anything that walked past him. The Asian guys just chatted between themselves, not very friendly to be honest. One white lad was also here, and he too commented about the guys being very unfriendly, and also no foam party. I`m due back in Leicester in three weeks time, but I think I`ll try the sauna up the road. Shame really.

My first visit and I was impressed. An nice welcome and fluffy towel and slippers are provided. There is a large well-stocked bar which sells food and you get two cups of tea or coffee included in your entry price. There's a large sauna and pool downstairs along with the showers, WC and changing room. The play area upstairs is great. Nudism is encouraged - I prefer to be nude in club play areas anyway, and most other men were too. Each room has condoms and lube handy, a nice touch. There's a big cinema with soft benches, a large lockable playroom and four smaller lockable playrooms with mirrors and soft bed surfaces, a dark room, glory-hole room, a large room with a St Andrew's cross and play surfaces, a sex-swing room with mirrors and room with a central one-person "operating table" surface surrounded by mirrors. The whole of the first floor is designed for sex, and was used as such when I was there - except maybe the outside smoking area, which I didn't visit. The clientele when I visited were mainly mature guys with a few younger ones. Everyone was very friendly and a group play session soon started in the large room. People then paired off to the private rooms although the "operating table" room, swing room and the cinema were also used for intercourse by those who didn't want to keep things private and wanted others to join in, which they did. There was a nice group play session in the sauna too, everyone very uninhibited but respectful of individual boundaries - as things should be in saunas. I had more action than I've had in a sauna for a while. To sum up, a great place with nice people and hot action, I will certainly be going back!

Been to Celts both city and Narborough road, but feel they've lost the plot to the idea of a sauna but Splash was awesome, comfortable, relaxing and generally people were more at ease. The staff bar one member were nice and friendly. The place its self was clean and tidy apart from the pool that didn't exist yet was really good fun, best jacuzzi I've ever been in. Thanks

I said in my last review that there are no glory holes. I was wrong. They are on the first floor, at the far end on the right, opposite a dark cruising area. A pity there was nobody around to share them!

And I should add that the private rooms were much less bright today. The swimming pool is still empty.

My first visit to the new Splash, which opened in the summer. It is quite obviously located in a converted warehouse or factory and the ground floor, where the sauna, steam room, hot tub and future swimming pool are located, is rather barn-like. Upstairs there is a cinema with a large screen, several comfortable private rooms, a sling room, another area with a sling, massage bench and horse bench, and a very dark cruising area. Altogether it is well equipped but lacks glory holes. Also the lighting in the private rooms is rather bright. There are no dimmer switches. Now what it really needs is more customers. It deserves them as it is now the best gay sauna in Leicester. On street parking costs under £2 for up to three hours.
