Info

Rainbow Chorus are the South's longest running LGBT Choir. We’re non-auditioning and our repertoire ranges from classical works to pop with a wide selection of other genres!

We celebrated our 21st birthday in 2018 and continue to perform, support and contribute to the quality and range of LGBT+ events including IDAHOBIT, Pride, Trans Day of Remembrance, Trans Pride and the World Aids Day concert (organised in collaboration with the other local LGBT+ choirs). We believe we really can change the world through the power of song. We take part in the bi-annual UK & Eire LGBT+ choral festival, Hand in Hand and the 4 yearly international Various Voices choral event. We give 2 main concerts per year.

We also run a more informal workshop choir, RC+, which meets monthly. In a safe friendly space, members explore their singing voice, grow in confidence and make new friends at the social after each session.

Full details of both choirs on our website or contact membership@rainbowchorus.org.uk
