A really lovely stay we had when visiting friends (It was friends whom recommended us) and we wernt disappointed. Lovely gardens must be over an acre to freely wander around and was nice when it was dimpsy was safe enough to have some fun even! Breakfast freshly cooked to order- plenty of nice fresh fruits and bedroom was really lovely. The pubs opposite a welcome site too and we got 10% from our meal too (When we showed our key) Stayed one night but going back for Christmas - Keep going lads best wishes and thanks see you Christmas Eve x Stan & Brendan

Need to remember this is a "gay friendly" not "gay" hotel as we discovered upon having an excellent breakfast surrounded by about eight charming straight couples. Photo of the hotel rather hides the busy main road between it and the water - photographer also probably standing on/next to the London/Penzance mainline railway but the Anchor Inn just next to it has excellent & modestly priced fish/seafood especially the "hung surf & turf" [the well hung meat was outstanding to see & taste]. Hotel and Gardens rather "tired" with pealing paint outside & our room had strange smell possibly damp carpets or plumbing problems.

Well run establishment I found myself passing by and needed a room for the night, what a little jewel I found, great hospitality friendly staff and wonderful massage after that long journey was simply a delight to be pampered, with a delicious breakfast the following morning - well recommended and I will be visiting with my partner next time for more fun and not to be thinking of work. Thanks Craig (The guy with the kiwi rugby top lol)
