A delightful large Victorian house, light spacious rooms, comfortable beds, spotlessly clean bathroom facilities, guest lounge with very comfortable sofas, another one clothing optional on the upper floor with bean bags and a TV and DVD player, with a good selection of movies to choose from. Friendly helpful hosts who go above and beyond expectations to make your stay an enjoyable and relaxing one. My stay needed to be an escape from the stresses of daily life, and it succeeded beyond my wildest dreams. I will of course be back! Redlands is fairly close to Tiverton town centre so a variety of eating places are within easy walking distance but I can only comment on the Weatherspoons at the far end of town which was very good value. Tiverton has numerous attractions including the Grand Western Canal which has one of the last horse-drawn barges in the country, there are brochures in the hallway at Redlands with timetables if you fancy a trip. And, of course, you are within easy reach of Exmoor, and of various National Trust properties including Knightshayes Court, well worth a visit. Really I can't recommend this lovely home-from-home highly enough. And it's excellent value so give it a try - what have you got to lose?!
