We stand with the Trans communityThis month, let’s all give a nod to the Trans community and to Trans Day of Remembrance (TDOR) on Saturday, 20 November. PinkUk is highlighting this important date in the calendar for everyone in the LGBTQ+ communities, which ever community (or none) you identify with. We encourage every-one to show solidarity with the Trans community by expressing support in social media or in any way you can. |
According to one TDOR site, 3664 trans and gender-diverse people have been reported killed across 75 countries in the 13 years up to September 2020.

The stars are aligned. New LGBTQ venue in London: Zodiac
Zodiac, London’s new LGBTQ+ venue in Camden, has its grand opening Friday 5 Nov. The Zodiac crew offer two floors, a star-studded main bar and a club space for DJs and cabaret. Well, we can’t wait.

Featured Venue: Weymouth Beach B&B, Dorset, England
With amazing views across Weymouth Bay, the Weymouth Beach Bed & Breakfast is an adult-only guest-house, offering tasty cooked breakfasts. Located on Weymouth’s elegant Esplanade, this smart Georgian town house has cosy rooms with free Wi-Fi. All the rooms have a private bathroom and an LCD TV with tea and coffee facilities and a hairdryer.

Featured Pride: Blackpool Winter Pride, Lancashire, Sat 6 November
It’s here! Yes, Blackpool’s first ever Winter Pride takes place in the town’s famous Winter Gardens. The organisers say the festival will be packed full of entertainment and fun for all. On Saturday 6 November sees artists performing with something for all ages, including their new Youth Pride room.
The evening show will be an over 18s event. Those purchasing an evening ticket will automatically gain entrance to the day event. People visiting the town for the daytime event will require a ticket for the organisers to comply with Covid-19 safety measures.

On a separate note, we hope as Covid restrictions are gradually lifted, and hopefully stay lifted, that you have a great rest of the autumn / fall. Christmas and New Year’s Eve aren’t far off. :)

2021 PinkUk now has 161 prides and events in the UK and a total of 542 prides and events in 42 countries.
2022 we now have 42 prides in the UK and have a total of 146 prides and events in 30 countries.
