PinkUk listings bursts through 500 LGBTQ+ pride barrier - thank you!

As mentioned in our last news-letter, but worth saying again as we don’t get that many claps (joke), we’ve broken through the 500+ Prides, global total listings for 2022. Anyone who didn’t clap then, please clap now!

We’re grateful for your support and proud to make this of 595 LGBTQ+ prides and related events in 44 countries for 2022. The good news is the growth in upcoming festivals shows how the LGBTQ+ scene is re-covering after the lock-downs and other problems with the pandemic over the last two years.

Our small team collates new festivals and other LGBTQ+ events daily. We really appreciate it when festivals and other venues share up-dates; we hope our work provides information to guide businesses and users in the UK and worldwide on what you would like to do and with the most accurate info at your fingertips.

It takes some effort to keep this site up to date and any support is welcome whether by advertising or donations.

Also, note there are some events some-times that do not get the airtime of the larger festivals be-cause they appeal to issues which are more serious or sometimes very sad. One of these is may17.org IDAHOBIT – the inter-national day to commemorate homophobia against lesbians, gays, bisexuals, trans, queers and others. 17 May was chosen to commemorate the World Health Organization’s decision in 1990 to declassify homosexuality as a ‘mental dis-order’.

Best wishes from Dave and team at PinkUk xxx
