Doylestown welcomes its 2nd Annual Pride Festival on June 12-19 2021 with the goal of celebrating diverse sexual orientations and gender identities in the Doylestown community, a collection of local organizations and businesses came together to plan!
12 June
Meet Local Author Philip William Stover

Nestled on the banks of the Delaware River, halfway between New York City and Philadelphia lies a vibrant river town that for decades has attracted eccentric artists, spiritual seekers, and pioneering activists looking for a place to call home, all looking for New Hope. Seasons of New Hope chronicles a diverse group of fictional characters finding love against the very real backdrop of New Hope, Pennsylvania.

Social Justice Series, That Magic Year Between the Stonewall Riots and the First Gay Pride
7 PM @ Salem Church (Zoom Series)
8ark Segal's 50 years of activism includes being a participant at the stonewall rebellion, a founding member of Gay Liberation Front and the founder of Gay Youth, and a member of The Christopher Street Gay Liberation Day committee which created the first Gay Pride in 1970. He is best known for his campaign to end LGBT invisibility on TV News and Programming by disrupting live TV shows including The CBS Evening News with Walter Cronkite, and the Today Show with Barbara Walters. 40 years after interrupting the Today Show on NBC, he was asked to serve on the Joint Diversity Council of Comcast NBCUniversal to continue to educate the network on LGBT issues.
