Blue Ridge Pride takes place on Saturday the 26th September 2026.

This will be Blue Ridge Pride's 16th annual Pride Festival. Our mission is to promote equality, safety, and quality of life for western North Carolina’s LGBTQ and allied communities, working as a united community through advocacy, celebration, education and service. We envision an inclusive community, where people are embraced for who they are and feel welcomed to engage and contribute. Service Area: We seek to support communities in the following 23 counties: Alleghany, Ashe, Avery, Buncombe, Burke, Caldwell, Cherokee, Clay, Graham, Haywood, Henderson, Jackson, Macon, Madison, McDowell, Mitchell, Polk, Rutherford, Swain, Transylvania, Watauga, Wilkes, and Yancey.

10:00, Blue Ridge Pride will kick off the annual Blue Ridge Pride Festival with a very special Procession through the city of Asheville. Join Blue Ridge Pride as they walk across the city and into the heart of the festival. Whether you are a business, a group, a congregation, community, family, or a pack of friends, join us on this half-mile walk. Wear your logo, carry a banner, be proud! Let the world know that in WNC, we win with welcome. Becoming Our Greatest Selves. When Blue Ridge Pride make one another feel welcome and valued, they enlarge our selves; they enrich our community. This procession is for everyone, not just members of the LGBTQ community. Blue Ridge Pride seeks a community where all are welcome to work, shop, and congregate as their authentic selves, regardless of their race, ethnicity, sex, disability, class, sexual orientation, gender identity, or religion.
