World Bear Weekend takes place from the 30th October to 2nd November 2025.

World Bear Weekend returns “home” to Lexington, KY. Join hundreds of guests from all over the world for our 7th annual 4-day Halloween/Day of the Dead-themed event. Enjoy an amazing weekend full of fun, fur, & frolic at the Embassy Suites by Hilton (Coldstream Campus) with an action-packed itinerary full of excitement. This year’s event features hilarious entertainment from Brad Loekle; all-weekend pool parties; Halloween Costume Dance on Friday, and a Day of the Dead-themed Dance on Saturday. Also enjoy cultural/holiday activities, educational workshops, vendor market, entertaining drag shows, exciting excursions, and more. Don’t miss the highlight of the weekend – our 7th annual World Bear Contest – with portions taking place each evening.
