Ark Valley Pride takes place from the 31st May to 2nd June 2024.

“We’re Here! We’re Queer! We’re Rural!” is the theme of this year’s gathering of the LGBTQIA+ community and their allies & families. Not only that, but we are hopeful this year’s event - featuring an afternoon Pride Parade down F Street and evening entertainment in Riverside Park, as well as a Sunday morning Drag Brunch - will be the best one yet. Bring your own dinner, snacks, and drinks and hangout in the park for the Ark Valley Pride Kick-Off. Bring your lawn chairs, blankets, and cushions! We’ll do our best to have some available if you don’t have one.

May 31st
Kick-Off Party @ Tres Litros 7–9 pm. Welcome to Queertopia! Join your friends and allies as we celebrate the kick-off of our 2024 Ark Valley Pride celebration! Hosted by Mary Q and Margot Anthony, there’ll be lip-syncs and awesome drinks - zero-proof menu also available!

June 1st
Youth Pride. Presentation & Awards. 10:30–11:30. Grab your family and friends to help us celebrate our area youth at the annual Ark Valley Pride Youth Awards with a number of youth activities and performances on the Main Stage.

Purple People. Powered Pride Parade. 2:30 p.m. - 3:30 p.m. Don’t forget to wear your purple! Meet the squad at Alpine Park on the corner of 4th and F Streets at 2:30 p.m. and zhuzh (yep it’s a word!) yourself up! You’ve got to be parade-worthy! We will start the walk promptly at 3:05 p.m.

Afternoon Dance Party. 15:30–16:15. Check out Pride Village or head over to the main stage and jump into an Afternoon Dance Party and keep the momentum going from the Purple People Powered Pride Parade!

Pride Presentation & Awards. 16:15–17:45. Local leaders and community members take to the stage to share stories and perspectives and celebrate our community through the annual Ark Valley Pride Awards.

Queertopia Nights, 19:00–20:30. Run home and change into your most dazzling self and meet us back in Riverside Park for an evening drag extravaganza, hunty!
Hosted by everyone’s favourite Emcee, Chad! Your fave cast of Colorado’s fiercest Drag Kings and Queens is back, with a few local favourites, too! Bring cash to tip the cast!

Pride Dance Party with ULLA. 20:30–22:00. Prepare for lift off - this party is wild! Keep the positive love and fabulous pride energy going with ULLA in Riverside Park.

June 2nd
Weekend Wrapup @Tres Litros 16:00–18:00. Let’s have a ki-ki! Hosted by Margot Anthony and Tanya, this year’s wrapup party will include surprises and gratitude and a little bit of attitude! Wind down with fun and friends!
