Sonoma County Pride takes place on Saturday the 1st June 2024.
Sonoma County’s annual Pride celebrations take place with a weekend-long series of festivities in the beautiful town of Santa Rosa. The mission of Sonoma County LGBT Pride is to promote equality for all. Working with community leaders, we work to support the non-profit community and to preserve and educate the community about the rich LGBT history of Sonoma County.
Theme
Queeroes. Celebrating our Past, Present & Future Sheroes, Heroes, and Queeroes. This inclusive and empowering theme is deeply rooted in the experiences and achievements of Sonoma County’s LGBTQI community. We honour the contributions and resilience of queer individuals from our own county’s history, shedding light on both well-known and lesser-known local queer figures. We recognize the tireless efforts of present-day advocates fighting for LGBTQ+ rights right here in Sonoma County. Queeroes aims to uplift and inspire the next generation of local LGBTQI individuals, offering mentorship opportunities and promoting a sense of community
Parade
11:00 – 12:00. Fourth Street & Mendocino Avenue, Santa Rosa. The 2024 Sonoma County Pride Parade, is brought to you by Keysight Technologies & YMCA of Sonoma County! Calling all LGBTQ+ community members, allies, and supporters! Get ready to celebrate Sonoma County Pride at our annual pride parade on Saturday, June 1. This year, our parade carries a special significance as we pay tribute to our local “Queeroes.” Join us as we honour the extraordinary contributions, resilience, and achievements of queer individuals within our community. The parade will kick off at 11am on 4th Street in the heart of downtown Santa Rosa. It’s a vibrant and joyous gathering that brings together people from all walks of life to celebrate love, unity, and equality. Don’t miss out on this exciting event that will empower, inspire, and uplift our LGBTQ+ community.
Festival
After the parade, continue the celebration at our Love in the Square community festival. Explore Fourth Street and discover local vendors offering a wide range of clothing, gifts, and hand-crafted art. Learn about best practices for water conservation and recycling and visit non-profit organizations to learn about the valuable work they do for our community. Join us in celebrating the 39th annual Pride Parade & Festival, a lively and joyous gathering that pays tribute to our local “Queeroes”. This event is not only for members of the LGBTQ+ community but also welcomes allies and supporters from all walks of life.
After party
