Windsor-Essex Pride takes place from 8th to 13th August 2023.

Windsor-Essex Pride Fest aims to promote equality and diversity through all of its events. We use theatre, music, art and entertainment to raise awareness of discrimination and the issues and difficulties affecting the lives of LGBTIQ2S+ people around the world. Our festival is an explosion of Pride in the heart of Windsor at Lanspeary Park on Ottawa Street, attracting more than 6,600 people in a celebration of diversity. Through this we aim to promote a sentiment in favour of equality, uniting people in a celebrating atmosphere where all are welcome, and fostering a sense of community within the Windsor-Essex LGBTIQ2S+ population.

Show your PRIDE at Windsor-Essex’s most colourful event! Whether you’re a business, organization, group, or simply an individual wanting to show your support, all are welcome! Held since 1992 and celebrating 31 years, our annual PRIDE FEST PARADE will be held during the WINDSOR-ESSEX PRIDE FEST at Lanspeary Park on Ottawa Street in Windsor, Ontario. The parade and festival are attended by the 2SLGBTQIA+ community, their allies, friends, family, and supporters. Our festival focuses on bringing all different segments and groups together to celebrate the 2SLGBTQIA+ community and its accomplishments while continuing to raise awareness of ongoing challenges including discrimination, exclusion, harassment, and assault.
