InfoPride Glasgow, Scotland's largest LGBT Pride festival returns on the 20th of August
Our annual Pride Parade is one of the most exciting and vibrant parades in the city’s calendar, as one of the few parades still to go through the city centre it is seen by around 100,000 people and with over 4000 people talking an active part in the parade.
The Route is the same as 2015 and starts at Glasgow Green continuing onto Greendyke St, Saltmarket, Trongate, Albion St, Ingram St, South Frederick St, George Sq South Aspect, St Vincent Pl, St Vincent St, Renfield St, Union St, Jamaica St, Clyde St, Bridgegate, Steel St, Turnbull St and Greendyke St before arriving back at Glasgow Green.
The Parade starts at 12pm and participants must be in place by 11:45am at the latest. Please gather at the Parade Point at Glasgow Green.
The Village Square is a new area at Pride Glasgow 2016 and will play home to the community aspects of the festival.
Here you will find our ever popular community expo where you can find out all about the different organisations and services that support the LGBTI community across Scotland. The Village Market perfect for picking up those rainbow accessories and look out for the official Pride merchandise too.
The Village Green located within the Village Square will host a brand new community space designed for families and include:
Picnic table style seating
Baby changing facilities
Following on from such a successful inaugural event last year the Pride Dog show is back again on Sunday 21st August.
Teaming up with key partners the Pride Dog show will host a range of categories and prizes judged by those that know dogs!
