A unique festival of queer spirituality where around 500 people will gather together to celebrate the creative love and spirit of the LGBTQI+ community, in an event that creates a new alternative addition to the UK’s summer festivals.

At Queer Spirit Festival a diverse range of groups will come together to offer ceremonies, rituals, workshops, discussions, drumming, dancing, arts, music and more. Participants get the chance to try out activities they may not have tried before or reconnect with things they love!

Like all good festivals there will also be cabaret, cafe's (vegetarian & vegan), stalls, spa and healing areas and plenty of places to chill-out.

It will be a place to meet other lgbtqi+ people in a melting pot of self-expression, playfulness, creativity and love. Sexuality as well as spirituality will be explored at the festival and so there will be some specific adult-only areas, but also this will be a festival with lots to do for people of all ages and children will be very welcome here.

The festival programme aims to reflect the diversity of queer community in terms of gender, sexuality, race and culture, plus highlight the great work being done by pioneering facilitators, activists and performers who are stretching the boundaries of queer identity and expression.

The people behind Queer Spirit have between them many decades of experience in community spaces and this festival is a development of the work done over the years at Radical Faerie gatherings, Queer Pagan camps, Queer Tantra festivals and lgbtqi+ workshops and has an ethos around creating a festival that is accessible to all and follows practices that connect with, respect and support the earth.
