The House near Bath is a Quirky Victorian former rectory with 12 bedrooms between Bath and Longleat Safari Park set in glorious gardens. Family owned and run, the decor is eclectic Far Eastern with mostly reclaimed furniture, which fits with the Gothic style of the building.

There is a conservatory bar, terrace and a three acre garden. Close by are riverside walks, archery, clay pigeon shooting and a number of National Trust properties. There is no restaurant, but the Red Lion immediately next door serves food seven days a week. There is also The Mill at Rode, a riverside pub just three minutes drive to the next village.

It is a 20 minutes drive to Bath and there is a bus which stops virtually outside going to both Bath and Frome.
