Keighley Pride takes place on Saturday the 20th August 2022.

Keighley Pride aims to promote the LGBTQIA+ community in Airedale, Wharfedale and the Worth Valley, and the community’s friends and allies. It celebrates and encourages acceptance, tolerance, equality and diversity and seeks to increase awareness of LGBTQIA+ issues among the wider community and increase feelings of Pride among LGBTQIA+ people.

As well as the annual Pride Gala, Keighley Pride has run a series of awareness and wellbeing events throughout the year. In November the non-profit group organised a public meeting between LGBTQIA+ people and representatives of Keighley Town Council, the West Yorkshire mayor’s office, and West Yorkshire Police.

Festival
A day of Stalls workshops acts & information/support for The LGBTQ+ community & their Allies - Pride Singers, Choirs & dancing.
The big annual Pride event will be at Cougar Park on Saturday 20 August from 2pm.
Gay Abandon, West Yorkshire’s premier LGBT choir; from stunning Welsh singer Bibi Taylor; and from Jane Fraser, from TV’s The Voice; a DJ; and a karaoke session.
Food stalls will be offering a range of snacks, including vegetarian and vegan options, and the Cougars bar will be open throughout.
Admission for all sessions is free. We'll be asking for donations at the gate (we recommend is £3 per adult) but we won't pressure you.

2pm-5pm – Pride gala, with stalls, entertainment, music and kids’ activities
5pm-7pm – Challax with blues and soul from Jane Fraser (as seen on TV’s The Voice) and more
7pm-11pm – Evening concert with Keighley’s own Marigold Addams (from TV’s Starstruck), Welsh singer Bibi Taylor, karaoke, DJ and more.
There’ll be a karaoke session and a DJ in the evening as well.
