Merton Pride takes place on Saturday the 5th September 2026.

The 2nd annual Pride Day celebrating and supporting the LGBTQ+ community in our borough. On this day, we invite all of Merton to embrace Pride in the name of tolerance and acceptance. The event will also invite local charities and other supportive groups to showcase their good work. Merton Pride is more than an event: it’s a celebration of who we are as a borough. Everyone deserves to feel at home in Merton, no matter who they are and who they love. We want all members of the LGBTQ+ community, including trans and non-binary people and LGBTQ+ people of colour, to feel safe and welcome in local spaces. Merton Pride is about celebrating our diversity, not just today but every day of the year.

Parade
The day will start with a Pride March through the heart of the borough (route tbc), including representatives from said groups and charities, and any members of the public who wish to take part.

Festival
The day will continue at an event space in a local park (location tbc) centred on an afternoon of live entertainment, surrounded by stalls and concessions.
