Buxton Pride Picnic takes place on Saturday the 29th July 2025.

Saturday afternoon, summer lawns, fancy hats, wonderful cakes, fabulous people: Buxton’s Pride Picnic is back a returning summer feast, a celebration of the LGBTQ+ community of the town and the Peaks! Join us for an afternoon of laughter, conversation, new friends, old tarts, bring your own picnic and why not bake a wonderful cake for our Buxton’s Big Gay Bake Off. We provide the place, you bring the picnic, elegant summer frocks, smart blazers, decorated hats, and the smiles. Or just bring the smiles.

Find us in Pavilion Gardens, on the lawns in front of the swimming pool. We are part of the Buxton Festival Fringe but no ticket, bookings or payments are needed. Just drop by and join in.
