Congleton Pride takes place on Saturday the 23rd July 2022.

We organised the first ever Congleton Pride event in July 2019. Divina de Campo gave us a performance to remember, and many other musical acts kept the excitement and atmosphere going all day while the public browsed round the stalls run by local LGBTQ-friendly organisations and businesses.

Our team chose to create Congleton Pride because we discovered that a lot of LGBTQ+ people in and around Congleton feel unsafe being themselves and expressing their sexual orientation / gender identity. Our hope has been to show everyone what the LGBTQ+ community is all about and give them a better understanding of it, in turn hopefully stopping any prejudice. We want all in Congleton to have Pride and feel safe here.

Congleton's very own LGBTQ+ Pride returns this Saturday, 23 July 2022. Come and celebrate Congleton's diversity with us - and enjoy live music, drag, magic, acrobatics and dance. With market stalls, food and licensed bar! Our evening event at the Town Hall has already sold out - you did get your tickets, didn't you?!...
