Info
We’ve now been given the green light by the States of Guernsey to host the biggest ‘coming out’ party the islands have ever seen.
We will be keeping a close eye on the current COVID-19 situation in case anything should change but for now – please check out what we have on offer for Channel Islands Pride 2020 on the 12th of September in St Peter Port, Guernsey.
Channel Islands Pride is back in Guernsey for 2020 and it will be bigger and better than ever before. This hugely popular free community event will see over 5,000 people wind their way through the historic town of St Peter Port.
There will be live music and entertainment until 9pm and then you can continue the party late in to the night with the Official Pride after party.
More details will be announced nearer the date!
Parade
Everyone is invited to come and join us at Candie Gardens, the starting location for the pride parade from 2pm onwards.
With stunning views over the harbour of St Peter Port we’ll have entertainment for everyone, old and young alike and of course its a great spot to bring a picnic lunch too.
The parade will depart at 4pm towards Market Square in the main town centre.

THE MAIN STAGE
Our main stage will be packed full of Queer performers
LONDON GAY BIG BAND
We love the London Gay Big Band so much that we’ve asked them back again! The London Gay Big Band is a fun, fresh and fabulous jazz orchestra based in London, made up predominantly, but not exclusively, of LGBTQ musicians and vocalists. They play a large repertoire of jazz, swing, showtunes and popular favourites.
IVY PAIGE
Back to seduce Guernsey once more is internationally celebrated cabaret performer, star of the BBC’s The Voice and firm favourite at the the Edinburgh Fringe Ivy Paige. Wowing audiences with her sultry voice and captivating curves, Ivy enraptures her sell-out crowds with lightning wit and fiery red hair.
RAINBOW CHORUS CHOIR
We are very proud to be able to introduce you to Liberate’s very own choir the Rainbow Chorus. The Rainbow Chorus is made up of people from all sections of the rainbow spectrum as well as friends, family and allies. This will be their first big performance since wowing the Eisteddfod in early 2020. Expect big Pride anthems and tunes to make you sing along like no other.
