Newbury Pride takes place on the 2nd June 2022.

The first ever Pride March in Newbury will be happening on the 2nd July 2022! Cancelled two years in a row, it is finally happening!!!

Parade
The First Pride March is happening!
We are beyond thrilled, excited and joyful to let you all know that the FIRST EVER Newbury Pride March is happening on the 2nd July 2022. We are starting in Victoria Park (the Parkway Shopping Centre side, map below) from 13.00pm with music from local band The Station, also attendance from the Mayor of Newbury, and we shall head off 13.30pm. We will go through Parkway into the high street, finishing at the Market Place where Kennet Radio will be blasting some of the best LGBTQ+ songs!!!!!

Festival
We are then off to The Canal Bar for drinks and celebrations of the LGBTQ+ community and all our allies. Also, the Market Place will still be open, so bring your purses and wallets to get some great purchases. As a fantastic bonus, The West Berkshire Museum (just a 2 minute walk) are holding a fantastic showing of life in Newbury throughout LGBTQ+ History. Not to be missed. There is no set end to the day, so come, enjoy, celebrate and spread the love. Because, after all, LOVE IS LOVE.
