Millport Pride takes place on Saturday the 12th September 2026.

Big things start with small ideas. On June the 18th 2026, a passionate group gathered at the Cumbrae Forum and via Zoom with a shared vision. By the end of the night, one thing was absolutely clear: the Island of Cumbrae is getting its very own Pride Event. What began as a quiet conversation has quickly sparked a wave of excitement. We are thrilled to bring a vibrant, inclusive, and joyful celebration to life for our incredible local community and the many visitors who love our island.
This is just the beginning of the journey, and we want you with us. Stay tuned for updates on how you can get involved, volunteer, or support Millport Pride. Let’s make history together.

Millport on the Isle of Cumbrae, will proudly host its very first Pride celebration, welcoming the LGBTQ+ community, allies, friends, families, and visitors from across Scotland and beyond.

Parade
A colourful Pride March through Millport. Pride March will be a walking event only. Unfortunately, floats, cars, buses, trailers, and other vehicles will not be permitted as part of the parade. We encourage everyone to show their Pride by bringing family-friendly banners, flags, costumes, placards, and colourful accessories to help make the march a vibrant celebration. Participation in the Pride March is free, but all groups must register in advance to take part.

Festival
Community stalls and information stands at the Garrison House. Live entertainment at various pubs and venues across the island. A dedicated Safe Space at the Cumbrae Youth Hub for Kids aged 0-25, offering a welcoming environment with family-friendly activities throughout the day.
