Bear Carnival Maspalomas takes place from 3rd to 13th April 2025.
Most European LGBT beach destinations are located in the sunny Spain, such as Sitges, Ibiza and Gran Canaria. Thanks to a vibrant gay community enjoying this climate, Gran Canaria hosts the biggest gay event calendar in the World, including Europe’s largest programme for bears and friends. But wait: this has nothing to do with any other “bear week” you may have heard about before.
Say hello to “Bear Carnival”, 10th Anniversary Celebrations, just after the World-famous Canarian carnival in Maspalomas, Europe’s largest beach resort. Well beyond the usual disco party and pub crawl driving most bear festivals, Bear Carnival’s programme comprises around 40 events, including Europe’s biggest bear pool parties, excursions to discover this subtropical paradise, fine dining experiences, luxury spa evenings, cabaret shows, a speed dating party… all organised around a crazy bear carnival with a new theme each year. Highlights include a one-day cruise on one of the biggest catamarans in the World, retrofitted as a floating disco for the occasion, and of course the usual set of daily house sessions and sex parties at the legendary men-only clubs in Maspalomas. Moreover, all this will be available at the reasonable, VAT-exempt prices of the Canary Islands.

Club Kiki: The New Nightlife Headquarters
The renovated Club Kiki at Yumbo Centre is now the official party hub of Bear Carnival. Mister Bear Gran Canaria will be a free-to-attend event at this venue, alongside major parties like DILF.
Tantra Sessions Return
Bear Carnival’s popular Tantra Sessions are back—this time running alongside the main event instead of as a pre-week activity. Held in a secluded retreat just 10 minutes from Maspalomas, these sessions focus on wellness and self-acceptance for large and bear men.
