ELLA Mallorca takes place from the 23rd to 30th August 2024.
Welcome to the 8th edition of ELLA Summer Mallorca — culture, music, sports and art for LBTQ+ women – on the gorgeous island of Mallorca in the Balearics, Spain. Seven days full of activities: conferences with international speakers, workshops, nature, gastronomy and the best international artists and DJs. A great opportunity to meet queer women and non-binary people from all over the world!
FRIDAY
18h-19:30h: SPEED FRIENDING / MEETUP. Drink, meet and greet other attendees – for the souls who don’t like to arrive alone at the opening or for those who want to have a warm-up with their own group of friends. An ELLA staff member will be there to help the early birds find a way to get to the event.

MONDAY
ELLA EXCURSION. DESTINATION: BOAT EXPERIENCE. Embark on the oldest sailing ship of the Spanish fleet (1841) as we take to the seas in a unique experience. A delicious meal of typical Mallorcan tapas will be served aboard as we enjoy the summer of Mallorca in the bay of its main city.
19h-22h: ELLA Talks. INSPIRING CONFERENCES BY OPENLY LESBIAN/BI/TRANS/QUEER WOMEN & NON-BINARY PEOPLE – SIMULTANEOUS TRANSLATION AVAILABLE ENGLISH / SPANISH. LOCATION : tbc
TUESDAY
ELLA EXCURSION. DESTINATION: CULINARY AND SIGHTSEEING EXPERIENCE. We first head to Valldemossa, one of the most beautiful villages on the island. Afterwards we will continue to Son Marroig for an easy 45 min walk with incredible panoramic views until we reach sea level where the authentic Sa Foradada restaurant is located. There we’ll enjoy a traditional Spanish menu including seafood paella, tapas, and wines (veg option available). Next, we’ll take a boat to Puerto de Sóller, a beautiful natural harbour in the Tramuntana mountains, before finally heading back to Palma.

WEDNESDAY
ELLA EXCURSION. DESTINATION: NATURE ADVENTURE AND FUN. Costeering in Calvia, in the south of Mallorca. Suitable for all levels. We’ll start with some refreshing jumps in the sea, before walking along the coast to the climbing area with spectacular views of the sea. Finally, a rappel that ends in the sea (all optional). There is also the option of jumping into the sea up to 7 meters high, a wonderful snorkelling circuit with the option of practicing psicobloc, and an aquatic zip line over the sea where you land in the water.

THURSDAY
ELLA EXCURSION. DESTINATION: PALMA ARTS AND SHOPPING. We’ll start at the Paseo del Borne, a pedestrian avenue full of fashionable shops with local and international designer brands. We will then take a stroll through the most emblematic streets of Palma, including a stop to try the famous Mallorcan ensaimadas in an ice cream parlour famed for them, and founded 3 centuries ago. Finally, we’ll have a well-earned drink on a terrace with beautiful views of Palma Cathedral.

FRIDAY
FAREWELL DINNER. Exclusive goodbye dinner with the ELLA CEO, Kristin Hansen, and the ELLA core team and ELLA Max supporters. Location tbd.
