EuroPride defiantly vows to go ahead as Serbian president claims celebration is ‘cancelled’
From September 12 to 18, 2022, Belgrade will be the host of EuroPride – the first city to host this significant event in South-East Europe and outside the European Economic Area.
Educational, cultural and entertainment programs will be organized throughout the week, which will gather people from the region, Europe and the world, while the Pride March will take place on September 17.
12th September
18h - Opening of the “Masterpiece” exhibition - Talas TIRV - UK Parabrod
19:30h - Lèche mon coeur - AlterEgoX - National Theatre in Belgrade
Léche mon cœur (Lick my Heart) was written in 2016 by Yann Verburgh, and directed by Julie Crantelle. This play tells of a discriminatory, violent and deadly outcome of homophobia through several thoroughly documented stories. Léche mon cœur convincingly and poetically portrays the destinies of those who are different, all while talking about the global phenomenon of homophobia and the absurdity of a society that rests on mutual misunderstanding and non-acceptance.
Parade
September 17th
The Pride Parade is the biggest event of Belgrade Pride, and will conclude the festivities!
The Parade will end with the traditional concert.
During the Parade, the LGBTI+ community will present our demands to governments in the region.
It is critical that LGBTI+ communities from the region unite on this day and march together for a better, more equal, and tolerant future. In the fight to achieve these goals, we need support from the LGBTI+ community from across Europe, so we encourage everyone to join us at the Pride Parade in Belgrade. The Parade will be a historic event that will show the strength and dedication of the community in the region to make the Western Balkans a better place for everyone.
The route of the parade will be announced close to the event.

In 2022 the Conference will serve as an opportunity to take part in dialogue with local and international politicians and decision makers on how they can contribute to strengthening equality and justice for LGBTI+ community. 2022 is a very special year for the local and regional LGBTI+ community, as Belgrade plays host to EuroPride.
The International Human Rights Conference, under the slogan Equal and Diverse, will take place from September 13th to September 16th, 2022, at Pride House (the Belgrade Youth Centre - Dom omladine Beograda), 22 Makedonska Street, Belgrade.
