Salento Pride takes on Saturday the 18th July 2026.

Salento Pride is an independent project, born in 2015 with the aim of providing visibility and awareness to the Salento rainbow community. Now in its 11th year the Salento Pride APS association has renewed Lecce as a destination for the event for the promotion and claim of LGBTQIAP+ rights. Not only a party of people and colours, but also and above all a manifestation of claim of those fundamental civil and social rights for all members of the Salento and Italian rainbow community, rights that are still denied us by a society that turns its head from other part.

Our pride
The pride of being what you are, from homosexual, bisexual, transgender, asexual or intersex people. Pride, understood not as "pride", but as "pride", or the opposite of "shame", which is the condition in which society would still want us to live.

Parade
The meeting point, starting at 16:30, is the Giuseppe Garibaldi Public Gardens (Villa Comunale), with an initial moment of participation and reflection before the start of the event. The route will be as follows: Departure via Imperatore Adriano, turn towards Piazza Mazzini, via 95° Reggimento Infanteria viale Japigia, via Salandra, via Trinchese, piazza Mazzini, via Imperatore Adriano, via Francesco Cavallotti, viale Otranto, viale Lo Re Arrival : Porta S. Biagio

Festival
The final evening, “Salento Pride Official Dinner & After Show ”, will be hosted by CLORO ( Via Adriatica, km 3, Lecce) starting at 21.00. We start at dinner time with an à la carte menu, 21.00 by RESERVATION. FREE ENTRY from 22:00 with a mandatory drink. The show begins at 23:00 : Ilaria Serio's overwhelming energy takes centre stage, along with the sound of Ugo Bartolotti, and the most colourful entertainment ever with CANDYLAND by CIRCUS Salento.
