Carlow Pride takes place from the 8th to the 14th August 2022.

Founded in 2019, we have made history in many ways. Our first Pride Festival held in July 2019 attracted 3,500 attendees for both our marching parade and main event in Carlow's beautiful town park along the River Barrow.

Carlow Pride is the longest continual Pride event in Ireland, this year’s theme will be ‘Hope’.
This new event will encompass everything that makes our city the cultural magnet that it is. The aim is to encourage involvement from the wider community, and to highlight the great variety of people that make Galway such a vibrant and exciting place to live and visit.

Events throughout the week will include evenings of information and awareness, arts and performance, music nights and the colourful parade on the final Saturday of the festival.

Parade
Saturday the 13th
Our walking parade begins at 2:30pm from Carlow College St Patricks.
We ask everyone to congregate inside the grounds of Carlow College St Patrick’s. We ask you not to stand or gather on College St.
- The entire route ie wheelchair friendly.
- This is a walking parade, no floats or motorised vehicles.
