Galway Pride Festival takes place from the 10th to 18th August 2024.

Galway Community Pride is a vibrant organisation based in the heart of Galway City who are responsible for the organisation and execution of LGBT+ Pride in Galway city and county. Each year a new group of people come on board to organise a weeklong festival of events ranging from educational nights to mental health information evenings. We aim to create a week when people can openly and safely share their identities, share their stories and celebrate who they are. Galway Community Pride aims to reflect equally the diversity within the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community by encouraging positive participation from the community. We actively advocate to achieve a solid and safe support structure for the LGBT community in Galway. We aim to provide awareness, educational and training events and workshops and endeavour to support and promote a socially-inclusive society.

Events throughout the week will include evenings of information and awareness, arts and performance, music nights and the colourful parade on the final Saturday of the festival.

August 17 @ 13:00–15:00. The parade kicks off at 1pm. We’d ask all attendees to arrive between noon and 12.30.
