Reykjavik Pride takes place from the 8th to 13th of August 2023.

Reykjavik Pride has been an annual event in Reykjavik since 1999, but the first Reykjavik Pride Parade took place in August 2000. Our cosy little pride, originally visited by some fifteen hundred onlookers, has blossomed and evolved into almost a week-long, colourful celebration that attracts over 100 thousand guests from all over the world. Reykjavik Pride is, in fact, the biggest annual event in Iceland and has sometimes been called “the world’s biggest small Pride!”

PRIDE CENTER
Our Pride Center is where the magic happens! Events, conference, parties and shows will adorn the festival week, and be the hub where the queer family can meet up for drinks, hugs and conversation. The Pride Center also houses the Pride Store, where one can find both rainbow merch and pride related items made by local artists and brands. The Pride Center this year will be located at Iðnó, Vonarstræti 3

PARADE
Saturday 12 August.
The set-up for the parade is at Tækniskólinn next to Hallgrímskirkja church. The parade marches down Skólavörðustígur, Lækjargata, Fríkirkjuvegur and Skothúsvegur where the parade concludes by Hljómskálagarður. After the march, Reykjavik Pride invites all to an outdoor concert in Hljómskálagarður.
