Budapest Pride takes place from the 25th June to the 25th July 2021, with the main event taking place on Saturday the 24th July.
Budapest Pride is being organized for the 26th time this year. The highlight of the festival is the parade on July 3rd, 2021. It will cover the streets of Budapest with rainbow colours in the name of freedom and equality.

RunForRights & Amnesty International runners believe that no matter who you are, where you are from or what you do, everyone should have equal rights. what really counts is our attitude towards one another. Our goal is to create a more open and accepting society where people are treated as equals.
Running brings us together, motivates us to raise awareness for the importance of our behaviour towards others, sharing qualities such as an open mind, diversity and non-discrimination, promoting a healthy heart and a healthy conscious mind. We are fighting for a better and more caring society not only for ourselves but also for future generations. We're looking forward to seeing you.

At this year’s March, we also put great emphasis on protecting the environment: we consider it important not just to respect each other, but the boundaries and needs of the environment too. The green movement and human rights issues are intertwined: the crises that accompany a climate catastrophe, like the epidemic, will now be used by the Hungarian government, by various authoritarian regimes to restrict human rights

The gathering starts at 2p, the March departs at 3pm, and we finish the program at 8:00 p.m. After the March, we’re looking forward to seeing you at Hungary's largest LGBTQ party at the Rainbow Party in Budapest Park.
