The 4th Trans CSD Dortmund takes place on Saturday the 21st August 2021.

Trans * CSD on tour
For the fourth year now, there will be a TRANS * CSD in Dortmund on Saturday, August 21st. This should contribute to the visibility and strengthening of trans * people. Unlike in previous years, there will be no permanent information booths, but the TRANS * CSD is going "on tour" through the city.

During the day, a conspicuous old-timer bus drives to four lively places in Dortmund to inform people about the concerns of Trans *. There are rallies there every hour and a half.

Information and exchange
The TRANS * CSD brings the topic of trans * into the public and aims to empower people on the topic of trans *. 15 groups, clubs and organizations from Dortmund and all of North Rhine-Westphalia will be presenting themselves at more than 10 stands. Organizations come from Arnsberg, Düsseldorf, Essen, Gevelsberg, Cologne, Münster and Recklinghausen, among others. The ideal opportunity for a conversation or just to take a flyer with you.
Why is there a Trans * CSD in Dortmund?

Dortmund has a special position in the trans * community. Dortmund is the largest city in the Ruhr area and, geographically speaking, forms almost "the golden mean" in North Rhine-Westphalia. Dortmund also has a comprehensive range of advice for trans * people of all ages, as well as for parents and relatives. The city is therefore perfectly suited as a location for a relatively new format such as TRANS * CSD. When the CSD Dortmund could not take place in 2018, the idea was born to host the 1st Dortmund TRANS * CSD. Since this was a great success with 21 clubs, groups and organization at 15 stands, there will continue to be a TRANS * CSD in Dortmund.
