Dortmund Pride takes place on Saturday the 5th September 2026.
An important part of the CSD Dortmund is the demonstration by the city of Dortmund. The aim of the demonstration is too social, especially sexual and gender diversity, to give a face self-confident to articulate our demand for equal participation in society as well to demand a discrimination and defamation-free coexistence in society. The highlight of the 28th CSD Dortmund is the street festival. A colourful stage program and the CSD information mile await you on Friedensplatz. A varied and varied music and show program awaits you on the stage. The clubs and initiatives as well as LGBTQ-friendly companies introduce themselves on the information mile. A City for All - Diversity on Every Route
Parade
The event starts at 13:00 at Dortmund Central Station (north exit, in front of CineStar). Assembly begins at noon. With a big, colourful and loud demonstration for diversity, we stand up for our rights. The demonstration route is just under 3km, and has no steep inclines. Please dress appropriately for the weather and bring plenty of non-alcoholic drinks.
Festival
The demonstration march ends at Friedensplatz around 15:00, where the festival takes place. With a large street festival on Friedensplatz (Peace Square) where we'll be showcasing the diversity of our community. In the heart of our city, along the information mile, associations and initiatives will present their leisure activities and support services, engaging in conversation with thousands of Dortmund residents and visitors. LGBTQIA+ friendly businesses will be on hand to provide information about their products and services. For one afternoon, we'll create a space in the heart of Dortmund where queer people are in the majority and confidently celebrate their freedom. The highlight will be our diverse stage program featuring talks, music, and performances. Here, we'll address topics that resonate with the community and present artists with empowering messages.
