CSD Trier takes place on Saturday the 27th July 2024.

“Christopher Street Day” commemorates June 28, 1969. On this day, gays, lesbians, transsexual people and transgender people in New York fought together for the first time against state arbitrariness and violent police attacks. The melting pot was the Stonewall Inn bar on Christopher Street. Hence, the “German” name Christopher Street Day (CSD), known worldwide as “Pride” or “Gay Pride”. Since those June days, to commemorate this event, people all over the world take to the streets and public squares every summer in a peaceful, colourful and proud demonstration of a celebration of diversity. Their common goals: create visibility and attention, demand tolerance, acceptance and full legal and social equality for LGBTI (lesbian, gay, bi, trans and inter) people.

Parade
12:00. Meeting point Porta Nigra. This year we will again organise a colourful and diverse demo for the CSD Trier through the city centre.

Festival
Starts at 14:00. Palace Garden / Meadow in front of the Queer Garden. On Stage: SCHMIT-Z family, Prince Damian, Access Icarus, Tamara Köcher, Abba Coverband, Betty Bacon, Lülü and many more!
