CSD Bocholt takes place on Saturday the 22nd August 2026.

CSD (Christopher Street Day) is an annual event held in many cities around the world to celebrate and promote the rights and visibility of the LGBTQIA+ community. The name is derived from Christopher Street in New York City, where the so-called Stonewall riots took place in 1969, which is considered a turning point in the fight for gay rights. During a CSD there are often parades, demonstrations, concerts and other cultural events to draw attention to the concerns and diversity of the queer community.

We are pleased to invite you to the 2nd CSD in Bocholt. In August, we will celebrate the diversity and rights of the LGBTQ+ community. Join us to take a stand for acceptance, equality and love. Different program items are planned for the day. Of course there will be a demonstration, but a street festival with a colourful program and an after-show party are also being planned. Come by, bring friends and be part of this historic moment for Bocholt. Let's celebrate together and set a strong example for diversity and tolerance.

Festival
This year's Festival of Diversity also awaits you again a colourful mix of information, activity and food stalls. The final layout of the stalls is still being planned. You'll find it soon. Here is an overview of all participating groups, initiatives and offers. So check back regularly, we'll update the information as soon as it's available.

After party
In the evening, the doors of Freudenhaus Bocholt at Europaplatz 11 will open for the official after-show party of Bocholt CSD. There will be dancing, celebrating, laughter, and all this until late into the night. This party is for our community and for everyone who wants to experience Pride not just as a demonstration, but also as a celebration. We're really looking forward to seeing you and to a night full of queer joy, music, and togetherness.
