CSD Hanau (Hanau pride) takes place from the 28th to 29th June 2024.

Enabling participation and creating visibility for LGBTIQ in Hanau and the surrounding area. That is the declared goal of the CSD Hanau eV. The CSD Hanau eV was founded in Hanau in 2018. The mission: to organize a Christopher Street Day in the Brothers Grimm City. On June 29, 2019, the first CSD in Hanau started in the garden of the Olof Palme house in Kesselstadt. With several thousand visitors, the best sunny weather and first-class artists, this day was a complete success. Under the motto "Once upon a time on Christopher Street..." we commemorated the uprising on Christopher Street in New York on June 28th and 29th, 1969.

20:15 Start of academic evening. Topic: trans identity. Keynote speech, panel discussion.

Parade
13:00 Demonstration through the city centre. The line-up begins at 12:00. on Boschstrasse, in front of the employment agency. This is located directly opposite Hanau main train station. The demonstration starts at 13:00, and leads through the city centre to the Olof Palme House.

Festival
15:00 Start of the empowerment stage festival with live acts. Olof-Palme-Haus, Pfarrer-Hufnagel-Str. 2, 63454 Hanau.

After party
22:00 CSD Hanau – the party with DJane Käry. Jazzkeller, Philippsruher Allee 22, 63450 Hanau. Tickets are only available at the box office and at the information desk during the stage festival.
